Wow, I got a lump in my throat reading this and watching the video, and I know hardly any Judy Blume except In The Unlikely Event, which I loved. She's not so big in the UK, as far as i know, my girls had Jacqueline Wilson instead, but I'm suddenly wishing I was an American teenager now, so I could get even a taste of what these books mean to you !

(I’m reminded of a quote from the great poet William Stafford, about the many expendable efforts that are made in the life of making poems: “I must be willingly fallible in order to deserve a place in the realm where miracles happen.”)
